Alataw Pass Handles Over 4,000 CRE (Central Asia) Trains

At 5 p.m. on July 15, a CRE train fully loaded with mechanical parts, electrical equipment and daily goods departed Alataw Pass bound for Malaszewicze, Poland, marking over 4,000 CRE (Central Asia) trains passing through Alataw Pass this year.

Since the start of this year, Xinjiang railway authorities have vigorously expanded and upgraded the port and its back-end channels, implementing efficiency improvement measures to fully unlock the additional capacity brought by these upgrades and enhance train throughput. Currently, 124 CRE (Central Asia) train routes pass through Alataw Pass, covering 21 countries including Germany and Poland. The transported cargo includes more than 200 categories such as new energy vehicles, mechanical parts, electronic products and daily goods.
