On July 18, the middle span of the continuous beam on the Baoding East Grand Bridge crossing the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway on the Xiong'an-Xinzhou High Speed Railway was closed. The Xiong'an-Xinzhou High Speed Railway starts at Xiong'an Railway Station and ends at Xinzhouxi Railway Station, with a main line length of 342 km. It is an important part of China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network along the Beijing-Kunming corridor and a key east-west high-speed rail passage in the "four vertical and two horizontal" regional network of Xiong'an New Area.
