Currently, the construction of the new Nantong Railway Station building on the Shanghai-Nanjing-Hefei High Speed Railway, undertaken by China Railway Construction Engineering Group, is progressing in an orderly manner. The main structure of the elevated station building in Area B has been completed, and over half of the side station building's floor slab has been constructed. The new Nantong Railway Station building and related works are an important part of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High Speed Railway. The station building covers approximately 55,000 square meters, and upon completion, the station yard will have a total capacity of 3 yards, 9 platforms and 20 tracks. This will play a significant role in promoting regional transportation integration and advancing higher-quality integration development in the Yangtze River Delta.
